I did a bad, bad thing

Hey Lovelies,

I am an official slacker. No seriously, it's been over a month since my last post and quite frankly I find that disgraceful.

So I guess I have a lot to write about today. First of all a very delayed WELCOME to the blogosphere to my good pal Monica who you can all find at : laughinglikeamonkey.blogspot.com.

At Monica's request I am going to let you all in on a little secret... I love old men!! And no, this isn't a joke, I really do. I mean old men in general are pretty cute don't you think?? Just a couple of my faves:

Oh oh oh! I had an idea! Not very original I must say but still... I have this weird desire to take photos of my outfits and post them here for you all to look at... Yes I am aware that it is what fashion bloggers do and I am no fashion blogger but I actually think it's really quite cute! What do you think??

Ok and last thing for now (but I will be making a new post shortly regarding weddings <3 <3 <3 )

I love Leonardo DiCaprio... I mean, who doesn't really? There are so many of his movies that I absolutely love! What's Eating Gilbert Grape, Romeo and Juliet, Catch Me If You Can, Shutter Island, Titanic, Inception... I could go on forever!! Some of you may be aware of the fact that he is staying in Sydney until December apparently. Very exciting. Yoursirensong and I are going to make use of this wonderful opportunity. We have made it top priority on our Bucket List to meet him :)

Sarah Loves Charlie

Hello lovelies how are we all on this fine spring day?

I am not so good... I am feeling deprived right now. Let me explain...

Yoursirensong and I were talking a few weeks ago my "problem" or so she calls it, with hot drinks. You see I cannot consume hot beverages unless they are at boiling point and as a result I have sort of killed my taste buds. So yoursirensong and I made a deal, I agreed that I would not consume hot beverages for one month and in return she would stop her ridiculous obsession with finger buns for one month. It sounded reasonable at the time, but I do confess I am now feeling the effects of being an addict.. I am in a state of delirium, shaking for no apparent reason, experiencing bouts of nausea and the list goes on. Okay, I may be slightly over exaggerating but still...

So I just want to let my dear friend Charlie know that I haven't forgotten you and I will soon be back for your delicious creamy belgium hot chocolates.

Two posts in one day... I'm good aren't I? :)

The reason I am posting so soon after my last one is because I had a fab idea. Yoursirensong and I are going to create a bucket list! But instead of it being things to do before you die, ours will be things to do before the year runs out... told you it was a fab idea!

Yellow Brick Road

Hello all my loyal followers!

It's been too long hasn't it? I swear I am not lazy (well not always!) In all fairness though I have been extremely busy. I don't know if I've told you this yet but I have recently started an internship at the NSW Parliament House working on their first ever spring ball.... ooohh exciting you say? Yes I think so too!
So I am trying to juggle all the work I have to do for that whilst finishing off my advanced diploma of events course.. how hectic! Ahh but I guess that's life...

Sooo.... Yoursirensong and I have decided that we are going to dominate the world of social media. We already have facebook, twitter and now a blog, now it's time for us to create a vlog! We are moving up in the world. We are ridiculously funny, yoursirensong and I, if I do say so myself. Some would say we are the next Hamish and Andy (for all you international followers out there who don't know Hamish and Andy, you are missing out!)

New Beginnings

I've been meaning to start a blog for quite some time now and ta da... I have finally done it!

I'm new to the whole blog thing so I am aware that mine is rather plain and boring at the moment but i'll get there!

Anyhoo things that I love:
♥ Fashion - if only I had more money to support my obsession!
♥ Travel - once again, if I had the money I would be traveling all the time!
♥ Art - it's so infectious
♥ Food - I am always thinking about food and what I can eat next!
♥ Type writers - don't you just love the sound those keys make??
♥ Wedding planning - my passion
♥ Music - there is something for every mood!


And a couple of things that I dislike:
Tomatoes - I have hated tomatoes and tomato sauce for as long as I can remember
Cockroaches - my phobia
Velvet/Suede - something that I just can't touch. I wish I could because there are some really gorgeous velvet dresses out there that I would love to get my hands on!
